National research centre for electronics, computing and AI
NECTEC is a national research centre under the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), running six research units covering artificial intelligence, communications networks, data science, spectroscopic sensing, computing infrastructure and microelectronics. It is one of the coordinating bodies behind Thailand's National AI Strategy and Action Plan (2022–2027), which the Cabinet approved on 26 July 2022.
