Electronics export quality control in Thailand

Quality, Standards & Regulatory Verification

Thailand's electrical and electronics product standards are set and certified by the Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI), covering safety, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and energy-efficiency requirements for specific mandatory-listed product categories. Voluntary and customer-driven certifications sit alongside these mandatory Thai requirements and are typically demanded by specific export markets or OEM buyers rather than by Thai law.

Mandatory Thai requirements
